Ghost Outfit

The idea of filming a session on one of Manchester’s fine Magic Buses had been floating around for a while following a conversation with the lovely, B&N Magazine. So as soon as Ghost Outfit requested their session to be filmed on the 42 bus route, we decided to make a real occasion out of it. We arranged to meet at Fuel Cafe in Withington one Wednesday night and to our delight, lots of people showed up and Ghost Outfit performed an entire set lasting from Withington to Piccadilly. Here Ghost Outfit perform a raucous rendition of their debut single ‘I Was Good When I Was Young’. Follow the link below for more song’s from the set.

Ghost Outfit are a Noise Punk/Shoegaze two-piece from around Manchester, England. They formed in their first incarnation in 2006 and sporadically played a few gigs and recorded under different names, until the lineup solidified in 2009.

They recorded the Forest Shout EP in September 2009 as a four-piece, and played a few gigs until their guitarist quit. In April 2010 their bassist left the group.

They self-released their debut single ‘I Was Good When I Was Young’ in late 2010, and recently finished work on a self-produced EP.

They are signed to Sways Records in Salford, are part of the Loomer Booking Agency roster and are currently gigging and recording around Manchester.
