Beacons Festival 2011 **CANCELLED**

This year’s anticipated Beacons Festival has been cancelled due to flooding.
Statement from the organisers:
“It is with sincere regret that the organisers of Beacons Festival 2011 have had to announce its cancellation,”
“Due to severe adverse weather, the event site is no longer considered to be safe for a public audience in the opinion of the authorities.”
“Please do not come to the site further announcements will be made later today. Please hold on to all tickets and receipts for the time being.”
The first ever Beacons Festival was set to run from 11th – 14th August at Heslaker Farm in Skipton.
Tom Vek, Jamie Woon, Jamie XX, Willy Mason as well as a host of northwest up-and-comers such as Patterns, Brown Brogues, Driver, Drive Faster and Plank! were all set to appear at this exciting event!
