Following career-best reviews for new album Algiers (press quotes below), CALEXICO have just announced a 6-date UK/Irish tour for Feb 2013. Ahead of this the band will be making their long-awaited UK live return with a headline show at the Forum next week and an exclusive instore performance at Rough Trade East this Thursday.

 

 

Calexico have also just unveiled a stunning, Close Encounters-style video for new single ‘Splitter’, of which Joey Burns from Calexico states: ”Spanish director Paloma Zapata’s attention to detail is phenomenal and on our newest single “Splitter” she took three different characters who are compelled by a need for escape with a sci-fi and surreal approach”.
