Liverpool’s psych-folk darlings Stealing Sheep make daring, edgy pop songs with wistful three part harmonies, psychedelic guitars, drums and synths.
Sitting somewhere in between sugar pop and doomy grunge. These unconventional popsters are currently receiving good peak-time airplay from Gilles Peterson Radio 1, XFM’s John Kennedy(including live sessions), BBC2’s Steve Lemacq & 6music’s Lauren Laverne, Marc riley (live sessions) and Nemone. Having signed to Elastic Artists earlier in the year (who boast artists such as Animal Collective, Deer Hoof and Chilly Gonzales on their books) they are set to tour Europe in June + July. This summer they will be playing at The Secret Garden Party, The Great Escape, Croissant Neuf and The Fusion Festival.
Releases: The Mountain Dogs EP (Red Deer Club) and Iam the rain EP (released by Idle Fret, recorded at Abbey Road) and are currently record an album (released by Cocoheart in Japan 17th august).
