Richard Barry
Aswell as being one of the best loved musicians in Manchester, Richard Barry is possibly the funniest musician money can buy. Here he performs his willy song ‘Pardon My Tumescence’ whilst on the loo. “Naughty Periscope”. Lovely Gent!

Every musician in Manchester knows Richard: he is one of the most fondly revered performers on the UK folk circuit. In the past Richard has supported the likes of Bob Geldof, Kiki Dee, Midge Ure, Fairport Convention and Dr Feelgood;.
He is also a much-demanded voice-over artist, narrator and actor.
Richard recently collaborated with Louis Barabbas and Alabaster Deplume on Debt Productions’ musical “Dead At The Café Styx” and performed it to much acclaim at the Brighton Fringe Festival (and later Studio Salford) where he was described by one (particularly morbid) reviewer as having a talent that “Vivian Stanshall would roll around in flames for”. The following month he played one of the most talked about sets at the Kuiperfest acoustic festival in North Spain and received a standing ovation at the prestigious Dancehouse Theatre later in the year.
A double album combining Richard’s acoustic and electric compositions will be coming out on Debt Records in Spring 2010
