After approaching Mr Yates about filming a session, he decided to take us on a road trip to his hometown, Wigan, more specifically, Wigan Pier. After a bit of priceless information about the “Pier”, we were treated to this powerful rendition of forthcoming album track, ‘Media Machine’.
T.E. Yates is a Manchester based musician and artist. He tends to produce A4 to A3 sized drawings and paintings but has on occasion worked to larger scale.
He is involved with local record label Debt Records and can regularly be found playing various musical instruments both as a solo act and with other bands.
Tom plays mandolin, harmonica, banjo and musical saw for The Victorian Dad Band but when left alone for long enough he will dream up worlds of stirring laments and fever-inspiring aural daubings about everything from trainspotters to doll assembly lines.
