Saturday, March 20th, 2010, 11:16 pmTellison are a four-piece indie rock band from London, England. To date they have released three 7″ singles, a three-track EP and one studio album on Gravity DIP Records/Banquet Records. They placed third in Rock Sound’s 2007 “Best Unsigned Act” poll.
Tellison met in Kingston, Hampshire and Brixton after their initial meeting at school in the early 2000s.[1] Their first release was a split EP with Northampton band Seven Years, called Tellison and Sevenyears. They then went onto release a self-titled three-track EP in September 2006. Debut album Contact! Contact! was released on November 16, 2007 after being recorded with two different producers, over a period of six months.The album was very well received with praise coming in particular from Rock Sound, Rockfeedback and Alternative Ulster.
