Universally acclaimed as one of the world’s greatest live acts, the Chicago based sextet will be heading to the UK in October in support of an album that – according to front-man Jeff Tweedy in a recent interview with Rolling Stone magazine – has ‘two strong threads of material. One being a little weirder – snot-nosed obnoxious pop songs – and the other more languid, atmospheric-country music.’

Wilco are truly at home when on stage & are known for taking risks, both musically and artistically, they are an act that continue to stun audiences year after year.

Wilco is an American alternative rock band based in Chicago, Illinois. The band was formed in 1994 by the remaining members of alternative country group Uncle Tupelo following singer Jay Farrar’s departure. Wilco’s lineup has changed frequently, with only singer Jeff Tweedy and bassist John Stirratt remaining from the original incarnation.Since early 2004, the other current members are guitarist Nels Cline, multi-instrumentalists Pat Sansone and Mikael Jorgensen, and drummer Glenn Kotche.
