Thirty One is a collection of tracks from some of Manchester’s biggest names, brought together in aid of the very worthy cause of C.A.L.M. (The Campaign Against Living Miserably), a charity devoted to tackling the serious problem of depression in young men. The charity has firm roots in Manchester and was passionately supported by the late Tony Wilson.
Released on The Factory Foundation and featuring tracks from Elbow, Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds, Everything Everything & Delphic, the album is curated by Hacienda DJ and author Dave Haslam, and aims to take a snap shot of Manchester’s current thriving music scene, as well hosting new tracks from Manchester bands dating back to the Post-Punk era.

The album features a new track from ex-A Certain Ratio frontman Jezz Kerr; here he is performing ‘Heart & Soul’ by Joy Division live at the Thirty One press conference:
