When Kong’s John-Lee Martin revealed his stockpile of home made, solo recordings under the name Then Thickens a couple of years back, indie fetishists across the land took notice; not only because of the shear volume of melodic, dark, hook-filled material, but the staggering quality of the songs.
Now after a period of relative obscurity, Chorley natives Then Thickens return with a new track, ‘Death Cap’, and the announcement of a long awaited debut album set for release early 2013.
