Last year the Swedish art rock band Paatos made a great comeback with the stunning album “Breathing”. This year they will finally return to the European live stages, together with the release of yet another new album!
The band has delivered highly acclaimed albums in the past, under which “Kallocain” mixed by Steven Wilson. In the years 2004‐2007 Paatos did many shows and went on tour with The Gathering and Porcupine Tree.
In October a new album, containing new songs but also old songs in different arrangements (!), will be released on GlassVille Records. Several vinyl releases are planned in this autumn, which will all lead up to the European tour in November.
This tour will be supported by 2 very promising bands.
A Liquid Landscape (NL) released their debut album “Nightingale Express” in the beginning of 2012. It is a concept album, which inspired moviemaker Lex Vesseur to make a short movie with music from the album. He also made the great artwork and the visuals for the live show. The album was mixed by Forrester Savell (Helmet, Karnivool). Both the album and the live shows are getting many raving reviews. This is passionate music in the vein of Karnivool, Anathema, Porcupine Tree.
The SixxiS (USA) will kick off the evening with their exciting rock songs. The band has just recorded an EP, to be released in the autumn, and is getting ready to play shows with the famous VOLBEAT in the USA. Resonant and thunderous, their music acts as a gathering storm on the distant horizon.
