Gideon told us to come and find him in his red Hyundai on Bridge Street. He said he didn’t mind the drizzle and led us to some office building where he performed ‘I Want You Around’, If anyone can give us an ID on the business dude who makes that ridiculous face at the camera please get in touch, legend.

There are no words to describe this band. Featuring Kev from Thingumabob & the Thingumajigs on Ukulele and Aidan Smith on fretless bass, this band like to don old school pyjamas and play sleazy pop ditties that will make you a bit happy. We filmed this session in their rehearsal room at Aidan Smith’s house.

We caught up with Stephen from Tellison during their visit to Manchester supporting Johnny Foreigner. Stephen was a bit under the weather but still delivered this heart-wrenching performance. Appreciate the Eff’ Stephen.

T.G Elias is one of Manchester’s best kept secrets. He performed this version of the ‘Peacock Song’ for us at Fletcher Moss Park on a sunny/rainy afternoon. There is nothing cooler than a pretty lady holding an umbrella over your head as well. Kudos.

We don’t know how they did it, but the Hotpants girls managed to wangle the use of the Sheila’s Wheels car for their session. A small crowd gathered at the Museum of Science and Industry to enjoy the combination of noise punk and hotpants. Bonza.
