It was an absolute pleasure to meet Pete Roe and his awesome band at Sacred Trinity in Salford. There were a few hang overs to deal with but that didn’t get in the way of this beautiful performance of ‘Oh Suzanne’.

We met up with Wax Fang ahead of their spot at this year’s incredible Dot To Dot Festival. The band had to play a late show, get the hire van cleaned and make it to Heathrow Airport for an early morning flight but thankfully had time to give us this lovely solo session from Scott Carney.

Conor J. O’Brien was kind enough to perform this moving rendition of ‘Set The Tigers Free’ for us on the roof balcony of the Deaf Institute.

We managed to grab Grown Ups in between their sound check and an epic Primark shopping spree in the amazing surroundings of The Tiger Lounge on Fountain Street. This performance was energetic and fun, but nothing compared to the show that followed.

The Swellers were nice enough to give us some time before there headlining slot on this years Give It A Name Tour. We used the reverb-tastic stairwell in the Academy where they performed ‘Welcome Back Riders’, but not before they flexed there strumming skills with some Mariachi guitar…. maybe stick to the killer catchy pop-punk!
